When is Lailat al Qadr?

Lailat al Qadr (Shab-e-Kadr) means the Night of Measure or the Night of Power. This day occurs on the 27th of Ramadan.

First, Muslims believe that the first words of the Qur'an were revealed to Prophet Muhammad on this day.

Second, Muslims believe that their fate for next year is determined on this day. Therefore, Muslims pray all day and all night on this holiday.
